When we arrived at home today, Wednesday the 26 of May, we found a little bird that was very colourfull in a tree. I thought it was a pet as it seemed scared and lonely and lost. When a lorrikeet went near it, it
jumped away and went to a different part of the tree. The bird has lots of colour in it such as grey, yellow, and maybe some green.It's head is all yellow and so is it's neck.It is very small. I really think it is a

We found a cockatiel at around 3pm on Tues., April 13 in front of our house in Santa Monica (Sunset Park neighborhood) S/he was trying to fly and hit the side of the neighbor's house. Fortunately, s/he was not
knocked out by the blow.S/he is grey with a yellow head and crest, and orange cheeks. No band. I would say s/he is about 12" including tail feathers (body about 6", tail about 6"). There are a couple of distinctive
markings which you may identify if this is your pet.S/he does not talk or whistle (very much). Is not trained to step up. Fearful of people. When we were able to catch him/her s/he bit very hard and in his/her cage

This angel was found deceased on the shoulder of the off-ramp of I-5 to Carlsbad Village Drive and was probably hit by a vehicle only a short time before we noticed him/her. No band, fully flighted, and vet

What appears to be a common grey female cockatiel with no leg band flew into our yard on Saturday, October 03, 2009. She was not finger tame, but I was able to get close enough to grasp her for the rescue,
getting bitten pretty good in the process. I have placed multiple "found" ads both in Craigslist and sites like this in an effort to locate her owner. She didn't know any special whistles and wasn't finger tamed at first,

A Cockatiel bird was found beside Midway Airport in Chicago. He has a yellow head with a lot of grey markings, a yellow crest, orange cheeks and some yellow on his upper chest. His stomach is pale grey, his
back and wings are dark grey, his wings are white tipped. His tail feathers are yellow and white. This bird was in sad shape when he was found. Per my Avian vet, he has been trying to survive on his own for quite
some time. If you feel this may be your missing cockatiel, please email me with a complete description of your missing bird's personality and a clear photo. I am quite attached to this bird since I have been caring
for him, but since I am still looking for my own cockatiel,Peaches, I understand how someone else may be going through the same heartbreak as I am. Most of all, I would like to reunite this little foundling with

This bird seems to be domesticated. It is not afraid to come but it does tend to nip. Very hearty appetite, squawks but so far no words. Not sure if it can fly because I have not seen it fly. THe bird is different
shades of green with bright blue wing tips and underfeathers. It has a band of orange at his brow then a band of yellow and a band of turqoise. His eyes are encircled with yellow feathers.
